Outreach Ministry
In Matthew 28 God commissions us to make disciples of all nations. Redeemer seeks to follow this commission by encouraging members to become involved in a variety of outreach opportunities.
Angel Tree Mission
‘Angels’ adorn a tree in the church lobby at Christmastime. Each of these very special angels represents a child whose parent is incarcerated. Inmates have the opportunity to send messages with the gifts we purchase, on their behalf. Angels are selected and gifts are purchased by our members. After the gifts are wrapped the angel is attached. We then deliver the gifts to the children in their homes. Help let the love of Christ shine on these precious angels. (Mercy, Serving)
BeFrienders Ministry
BeFrienders are lay volunteers who provide pastoral care to people in difficult and transitional situations, such as illness, loneliness, or loss of a loved one. BeFrienders accept people as they are, listen with compassion, and allow those they befriend to make their own decisions. Training provided. (Discernment, Exhortation, Shepherding)
Christian Day School Ministry
God has blessed us with a Christian Day School, and we are dedicated to reaching young hearts and lives with the love of Jesus. Do you have, or do you know of someone with school age children? Come and check out Redeemer Lutheran School. Find out what a difference Christian education can make in the life of a child. & (To staff school: Administration, Leadership, Teaching) (To support school: Fellowship, Helps, Serving) Bill Souza 952-473-5356 X 219
Compassion Circle
Compassion Circle is women gathered together with a passion for serving the Lord. Annual Cookie Packs are baked, packaged and delivered at Christmas time to needy members and shut ins. They also send Bibles to other countries, serve at funerals, call on shut-ins, and do so much more. Women of all ages are invited to join. The Circle meets the first Monday of every month at 1:00 pm. (Fellowship, Intercession, Mercy, Serving)
Free Coffee Wednesdays (Quarterly)
On four Wednesdays, one each quarter, we stand outside Redeemer’s door and offer free Caribou Coffee to drivers on their way to work, school, errands, etc. We not only hand them a hot java, but also send them on their way with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. An easy way to let them know Redeemer is in the neighborhood, and that we care about them. (Evangelism, Serving)

Our Missionaries in Hong Kong
During Lent, the money from our Self-Denial folders goes to support Pastor John & Sue Mehl, and their three children; Katrina, Louisa, and Theodore. John is the Asia Regional Director for World Mission, the mission arm of our synod. John, Sue & Theodore live in Hong Kong, while Katrina and Louisa are here in the U.S. going to high school and college. We need to continue to commit funds and prayer for their very important work among the people of the Orient. We are also looking for someone to send birthday cards, holiday cards and “Thinking of You” cards and other news and love from their homeland. Minimal time commitment and no meetings. (Intercession, Knowledge, Leadership)
Prayer Warriors
24 hours a day, every day of the week, there is a half hour time slot for you to set aside what you are doing and spend that time in prayer with the Lord. Join the Prayer Vigil with your brothers and sisters in Christ as we pray for our church, our nation, our families and our loved ones. Another option is to become a member of the Intercessor Team that comes together at the end of worship services to pray for our Church’s needs, or individual needs that come forward. (Intercession, Shepherding)
Prison Ministry
Prison Fellowship is a ministry that reaches out to help inmates in Wright County as they prepare to return to life outside of prison. Your help is encouraged, from holding up the ministry in prayer, to becoming personally involved in Saturday morning Bible studies with the inmates, or meeting individually with inmates on weekdays. (Exhortation, Mercy, Shepherding)

The Sleep Out
Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners spearheads an annual fundraiser for the homeless. Redeemer supports this effort with a special offering for the housing needs of those in our community. A coordinated sleep out in the winter helps publicize the great need for housing. Let’s pitch tents and join in! (Intercession, Serving, Teaching)

All levels of skill are useful. The crews are made of men and women, teenage and older. Watch your skills transform unusable houses, or raw materials, into homes people can live in. (Manual Craftsmanship, Serving)
