Small Groups Ministries

Our small groups ministries serve to help our church community go closer to God while also growing closer with one another. No matter your stage of life or spiritual journey, there is a small group for you to join and get connected with our church family.

Available Small Groups

From September to April, families gather on Wednesday nights to enjoy dinner and Bible study for all ages: children’s ministry for kids grades 1 through 5; youth group for grades 6 through 12; separate men’s and women’s Bible studies. Dinner is from 5:30 – 6:00 pm, followed by Bible study from 6:15 – 7:15 pm Four times a year groups come together for shared service projects including Feed My Starving Children meal packing, New Life Family Services diaper donations, Lutheran World Relief Quilt and Student Kits, and Blessings Bags packing for the homeless of Minneapolis through In Love, Word, and Deed.

Every Wednesday morning at 10:00 am from September through May, the senior ladies of Redeemer and their friends meet for Bible study and prayer at the church. Together we study what God’s Word says about topical issues such as faith, hope and forgiveness as well as in-depth character studies of people in the Bible. We invite you to join us!

Every Wednesday evening at 6:15 pm, a group of women gather to study God’s Word and enjoy each other’s fellowship in an informal, encouraging setting. Leader: Doreen Sullivan.

Every Thursday morning a group of women gather for orthodox, traditional fellowship around the Word of God. We study the books of the Bible in-depth. We gather from 9:00 am to 9:30 am for early fellowship, followed by Bible study from 9:30 am to 11:30 am Leader: Jill Finucane, 612-404-5745, lastdayschapel@gmail.com

Every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. a group of men and women gather via Zoom to experience a Bible study called “EDiBS.” We study the Bible through the powerful teaching of Lutheran pastor Paul Stark. During the week Pastor Stark records a daily 10-minute, verse-by-verse, video devotion of various books of the Bible. Each Saturday we gather to discuss the previous five days of devotions. Besides the videos, a written script is also available. Pastor Steve leads this informal Zoom discussion group.
