Lutheran Women in Mission

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) was founded in 1942 to unite sisters in Christ as they focused on reaching out with the love of Christ to others in need, and we continue to do that today as Lutheran Women in Mission.

The Redeemer Lutheran Women in Mission meet monthly to encourage each other with a Bible study from the LWML Quarterly publication, plan local mission work, as well as support the mission work that our Zone, District, and National organization levels have each voted to support.

We meet from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, on the 2nd Tuesday of each
month, September to May, in the Conference Room at the church.

We gather prayer shawls to give to Redeemer members who are going through a difficult time or grieving a loved one.
We collect baby blankets to help welcome babies into our church family at their baptism.
We collect hats in the winter to donate to those in need.
We are in the Lake Minnetonka Zone, and gather with the other 6 active LWML groups in our zone to hear from and support a mission group in the Fall and Spring. Watch for announcements!
We gather with the Lake Minnetonka Zone LWMLs in March for a prayer service. Watch for the date!
